So, I've been pretty down in the dumps about art and my place in the scheme of things, and it just comes down to one thing: I need to DRAW. And, not just for $$$ (although that IS very important here), not even because I think it'll go somewhere to further my career, but because I'm an artist, and typically, that's what we do.

See, I'm someone who is a perfectionist, through and through. I'd rather not start something without making it the ULTIMATE version of whatever that something is. For the most part, this is a good thing, at least when it doesn't interfere with getting projects DONE. People like that I always strive for the best, and never EVER half-ass things. BUT, (and here's where it's gone south for me), I have let it get to the point where I don't even START working on anything, unless I can see a tangible, and most importantly PERFECT END.

So, I've decided to just draw, for the sake of drawing. Every day, as much as I get to.

Who knows? This might even get one of my "perfect" (or maybe not-so perfect) comics into your hands just that much quicker.

So, I will be attending Mega Con in Orlando, FL at the LithoNinja.com table Friday and Saturday Only.

Also, my good friend Derrick Fish will be there selling his latest issue of The Wellkeeper in section Pink 11, for which I did a cover and will be doing an as-yet undisclosed back-up feature.

The only thing I can say about Christmas is that I hope you can all enjoy this time of hope and joy with loved ones. Art is a big part of joy for me and I hope to share much more of it this Christmastime. I am selling more and making more art during my time off from my day job, so keep your eyes peeled. I am caught up on my payments, and I am actually overworked right now with paying gigs. I want to let people know I am still available for commissions for a little while longer, but, I may actually be forced to NOT offer commissioned work for a bit.
